Mountain Tank belongs to the category of turn-based video games known as weapons games, in which opposing tanks or cannons attempt to defeat one another.
Players enter parameters including the distance between tanks, the velocity or "power" of the shot launched, and the angle of the tank turrets in a manner reminiscent of older artillery games.
